In the 2000s, Battle Ground was the fourth fastest-growing city in the Washington State and continues to draw home buyers at a steady clip.
Recent modernization and improvements include a 25,000 sq. ft. downtown skate park and 13,000 sq. ft. public library. The city is ground zero for the burgeoning wine industry in Southwest Washington and is home to three wineries and one tasting room. Other nearby attractions include Lewisville Regional Park, Battle Ground Lake State Park.
Downtown Battle Ground is the commercial core along West Main Street. Here you will find the usual staples of small towns in Washington: casual restaurants; brew pubs; and coffee shops (you will never be far from your next espresso or latte anywhere in the state).
From July through September, the Battle Ground Farmers Market runs each Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. The market operates in Battle Ground Village, a pedestrian-friendly mixed-use development that combines modern retail space with townhomes.
