Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Info

Brentwood-Darlington shares its borders with Woodstock to the west, Mount Scott-Arleta to the north, Lents to the east, and its southern boundary is the Multnomah from Clackamas County line.

The neighborhood has many parks, including Brentwood City Park, Harney City Park, Errol Heights City Park, and Flavel Park. The area features several large scale urban gardening projects, including the Brentwood Community Garden, which was improved and expanded in 2010 through a grant from The Home Depot and Fiskars. It is also home to the Portland State University Learning Gardens Laboratory.

The vibe in Brentwood-Darlington is that of a laid-back residential area without a major commercial core. However, nearby Woodstock has retail stores that run along SE Woodstock Blvd.

This district is relatively affordable when compared to other Portland neighborhoods. Homebuyers can get a bigger house here for less money. Architecturally speaking, Craftsman, Bungalow, Cape Cod, and Foursquare houses are common. A few multi-family residential buildings, including new construction condos, dot the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood.
