North Portland Info

North Portland (aka NoPo) is home to Portland International Raceway (PIR), the University of Portland, Port of Portland, and the famous 31-foot-tall Paul Bunyan statue just across from the Kenton/N. Denver Avenue MAX station. The icon is a local symbol that helps contribute to the definition (among many other Portland qualities) to the proudly proclaimed "keep Portland weird" motto.

North Portland is regarded as the land of opportunity. As the city of Portland grew, access to the district improved due to the installment of the MAX Yellow Line in 2004. The connection to Downtown Portland generated more interest in the neighborhood. Increases in real estate investment, housing demand, and prices followed.

North Portland had other essential landmarks, too, including North Portland Harbor, Kenton Rose Garden, the Shady Manor, Kelley Point Park, the Smith and Bybee Wetlands, and Columbia Slough, a famous canoeing/kayaking route. You can also enjoy some serious shopping at Jantzen Beach SuperCenter in Hayden Island in the Columbia River and enjoy the river view at waterfront hotels and restaurants.

Each property listing above includes details about the price, year built, size of the home and the lot (square feet), number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, and other vital details. You’ll also be able to check the number of days it has been on the market (DOM), the MLS number, and the listing status (active, pending, or bumpable).

Review exterior features like swimming pools, yards, fences, and landscaping. Listings will also specify the architectural style of the house and if there are any views. Interior features like heating and cooling systems will be itemized. If any appliances or other personal property are included with the sale, those will also be noted.

When available, local information will be included along with North Portland schools, nearby amenities, and a map.
