Sabin Neighborhood

Sabin shares its borders with Vernon on the north, King on the west, Irvington on the south, Alameda on the east, and Concordia on the northeast. Sabin sits between NE 10th Ave and NE 23rd Ave from west to east and between NE Fremont St and NE Wygant St from south to north. NE Prescott St also runs along some of its northern border of Sabin neighborhood.

Sabin is a short hop from Downtown Portland, and the popular Alberta Arts District sits just a few blocks away. It's proximity to these two commercial areas, which are full of trendy businesses, make Sabin a sought after place to live and consequently, one of the more expensive neighborhoods in Portland.

There is a strong sense of community in this neighborhood in no small part due to the community garden on 11th Ave and the Sabin HydroPark between 18th and 20th, where residents walk their dogs.

There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops along NE Fremont Street. Residents also enjoy Whole Foods Market on NE Fremont St and the Multnomah County Library next to it.

Sabin is an excellent district for home shoppers to hunt for older Bungalows, many of which were built in the 1940s. They are a little smaller than a Contemporary home, but their charm makes up for it.

Given the factors outlined above, when the Portland real estate market is warm, Sabin is hot. Homes here do not stay on the market very long.

Each property listing above includes details about the price, year built, size of the home and the lot (square feet), number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, and other vital details. Review exterior features like swimming pools, yards, fences, and landscaping. Listings will also specify the architectural style of the house and if there are any views. Interior features like heating and cooling systems will be itemized. If any appliances or other personal property are included with the sale, those will also be noted.
