Southeast Portland Neighborhood
Southeast Portland is the hippest district in Portland, Oregon. The area is filled with eclectic boutiques, cafes, breweries, and restaurants. The most popular streets for entertainment in SE Portland include Belmont St., Hawthorne Blvd., and Division/Clinton. Southeast Portland is lively weeknights and weekends. Geographically, the dividing line between the South and North Portland is Burnside Street. Southeast Portland. Five bridges connect it to Southeast Portland, Northwest Portland, and Southwest Portland. Such accessibility is desired by people who work in Downtown Portland while wanting to live in a socially happening place.
SE Portland is also home to Reed College, which is the most liberal college in the state. Although SE Portland is filled with retail buildings and houses, one can enjoy the outdoors by biking Springwater Corridor or hike Mt. Tabor, a dormant volcano within Portland's boundaries.
