About Ridgefield

Founded in 1909, Ridgefield spans 7.18 square miles of rolling terrain. Downtown Ridgefield has an old-fashioned vibe with its tree-lined streets and small boutiques. The few city blocks that form the commercial core of town overlooks the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge and abuts Lake River, a tributary of the Columbia River.

Locals love Abrams Park, a popular facility run by the city that draws people for picnics, dog walks, and sports. Facilities include a playground for kids, baseball diamonds, and sports fields for soccer and lacrosse. Gee Creek runs along the southern edge of the park. Take a stroll through the shade on one of its trails or hit the open fields for some frisbee golf (there’s a nine-hole course).

Ridgefield remains a popular place for real estate; population growth and home construction continue at some of the fastest rates in Washington State.
