About Washougal

Washougal is the last city eastbound travelers pass through on Highway 14 before climbing into the foothills of the Cascade Range and through the Columbia River Gorge. Views of The Gorge and Mount Hood are unparalleled, especially from homes situated along the Southeast corner of the town’s many hills.

Like much of Southwest Washington, the population of Washougal has steadily climbed since the 1990s. The development of subdivisions and construction of new homes matched the pace; there are many homes here in excellent condition and less than a decade old.
